Come join us at the Roswell Library for our first Swing & Latin dance
workshop.
Get your blood pumping to the Latin Rhythms of Salsa; one of the most
popular Latin dances hitting Atlanta Latin clubs these days. Then be
energized & get your groove on & learn how to dance the East Coast Swing. We
will be going over some easy to learn steps & putting it together into cool
dance combinations.
After the class you will get a chance to practice the steps you learned
in both Salsa & Swing with an hour practice dance. All this absolutely FREE!

4 Hour Salsa Boot Camp and Ladies Latin Styling Class :
Saturday July 19, 2008
This Salsa Boot Camp is tailor made for people who are too busy to commit to
a regular 6 week class. It's been said that the best way to learn a new
skill is to totally immerse yourself into learning that specific skill.
This class is for beginner to intermediate level salsa dancers.
We will START by teaching you the fundamental patterns & steps of Salsa,
giving you the foundation & building blocks to make you comfortable on the
dance floor. We will build upon each pattern every hour cementing & building
a solid set of cool combinations that you can immediately use at the Latin
clubs.
If you have been going to encore & have attended the free hour salsa lesson
& want to learn some more cool steps. This class is definitely for you.
In addition to the cool dance patterns, we will teach you lead & follow
techniques, & ways to breakdown the patterns so that you can remember them
after the workshop, & more importantly be able to dance the steps you have
learned with people at the clubs who did not take the class with you.
You will have plenty of practice time & one on one attention to make sure
you master each steps that are taught! You will definitely have a great time
in this class!!
Specially for the Lady's we will also have Donna Rodriguez teach an hour
Lady's styling class!! If you want to add style and attitude to your
dancing, this class is definitely for you!!
What else is included in this class:
- music cd so you can practice at home
- the patterns, tips & steps taught in the class will be recorded & available
for $5 but if you pay & register in advance you will receive a copy of this
dvd for free
- lunch & drinks provided for boot camp attendees
